WHY SHOULD I ASK OTHERS TO SUPPORT ME?

While it may seem intimidating, raising support can be a powerful experience that gives others the chance to be a part of your mission. While God may not have called your friends and family to travel with you overseas, He may be calling them to give. If you don’t invite them, they will never experience the joy of supporting your cause.

WHERE DO I START?

We recommend you start the fundraising process by filling out your online fundraising page. You will receive information and instructions for personalizing this page when you complete your application. Customize it with your story, add videos and post photos that share your passion with the world. When you’re done, you can even share it with your friends and family on social media.

We also suggest that you send out letters to family and friends, asking for their prayer and financial support. Through this act, you are inviting them to become involved with God’s work in your life. You will be surprised by how many are willing to share their material possessions so others can know Christ through you, understanding that their investments will have an eternal impact.

After signing up for your trip, you will receive materials helping you get started. This includes sample support letters, instructions for setting up your online page and advice from the pros!
